PLEASE BACKUP AS INSTRUCTED BELOW!

You need VCDS, VCP, OBD Eleven or ODIS software and tools to modify codings and adaptations.

The screenshots and instructions shown here are for VCDS tool but you can also easily find same ways with other dignostic tools.

The function is controlled by instrument cluster. So open VCDS and click "Select" button in "Select Control Module" section:

When the modules screen are loaded, select "17 - Instruments":

Select "Coding - 07":

Click "Long Coding Helper". Please copy the "Curent Coding" value and save it in a Txt file as a backup.

Instead of any failure, you can always replace this code to return default settings.

In "Byte 0, Bit 2-4", select "Seat Belt Warning Inactive

If your VCDS does not show a dropdown menu, just deactivate "Byte 0, Bit 2

You are done. You can check the result. No more annoying seat belt warning.

But please continue to use Seat Belt for your own safety :)
