GeKo/GRP Account

Can I use GeKo/GRP account on any pc connected to the internet?

Yes you can only if you use PKI cards on that computer.

How can you use the GeKo/GRP features?

  • You must have the Offboard Diagnostic Information System software installed.
    For GRP accounts you need at least Odis Service 24.1 and Odis Engineering 18
  • For ElsaPro you need to login at http://portal.cpn.vwg
  • If you are working outside of dealer network, you need to have valid GeKo VPN subscription to access CPN portal. We provide VPN for free for the first month only.
  • GRP accounts do not need VPN service. It is working over internet.
  • VPN is not required for ODIS software. ODIS may connect to dealer network via internet.

What is GeKo/GRP?

GeKo (security and component protection), GRP (Group Retail Portal) is a feature, which is available to users with the online connection of the Offboard Diagnostic Information System diagnostic software and allows teaching of engine immobiliser components (e.g. instrument clusters, engine control unit), keys and component protection (e.g. air conditioner, navigation, etc.) of the vehicle.

What is the shipping company and expected delivery time?

We send by DHL express or Standard shipping. Delivery takes 1-5 days for DHL Express, and 10-20 days for standard shipping.

Will you send me physical items?

Yes. PKI cards and readers required for authorization will be sent to your address.

Do you rquire any documents or is it subject to an approval?

Yes. You will receive an application form and your order is subject to approval by main dealer. GeKo/GRP accounts are only available for workshops registered in USA for now. We will open this service to other countries soon.

Can I change my GeKo/GRP password?

Yes you can. It will be a dedicated account for you and you will have full control over your account.

Is the GeKo/GRP account unique or shared?

The account you receive is unique and only for your usage.

Can I share my account with my friends?

No. GeKo accounts are only for your usage and cannot be shared with third parties. If we detect unusual logins from different IP addresses we may block your access. This violates our General Terms of Business and you will be unable to get any refund.

What will happen when the subscription period is over?

Your subscription will not be renewed automatically and your server access will be restricted. You need to order this service again.

Is it Multilingual ?

Yes it is. But there is one default language depends on the origin of the GeKo account. So default language can be German, Spanish, English, Turkish or Chineese but you can easily change language in ElsaPro header menu and use it in your native language.
